Education

Mr. Alfano earned his Bachelor’s degree in international relations from American University and his Master’s of Business Administration degree from the University of Maryland – College Park. 

 

Biography

Mr. Alfano has a variety of sales experience in the culinary and financial world. As a sales manager at PPG Industries, he currently manages over 200 small business accounts along with several regional Multi-Shop Organizations and National Accounts. These accounts range from $1M to $14M in annual sales. He manages $7M in annual sales through in-person shop calls and trainings. He also creates and implements sales targets and sales opportunities plan. These plans track and measure opportunities through PPG’s proprietary CRM tool, Vantage Point. Using Microsoft Power BI Mr. Alfano analyzes industry metrics and finds opportunities for business development. 

Previously Mr. Alfano was the Chief Operating Officer of PULSE House of Fitness. As the COO he created aggressive B2B and B2C sales strategies that focused on increasing engagement and visibility for startup organizations. He cultivated and maintained profitable relationships with vendors while establishing a profitable sales channel by launching new, engaging marketing strategies using Mailchimp, HubSpot, and Survey Monkey. He achieved $300K+ in organic sales within the first year of operation while designing a replicable business model to expand to 50 locations over 5 years.

In Mr. Alfano’s spare time he is an avid tennis player and hopes to retire in Chile, where he studied abroad. Mr. Alfano can communicate professionally in Spanish.
